Terms of service

What we sell

Refunds

If a directory rejects your connector, we fix the problem and re-file at no charge. If we cannot get it accepted within 60 days of the first submission, you may ask for a full refund of the build fee and we will pay it. Monthly plans are not refunded for time already served; cancel and the plan stops at the end of the period you have paid for.

Payments

Stripe handles every payment. Counter never receives, holds or stores a card number, and never moves money on your behalf. Where one of your tools involves a payment, it returns a Stripe Checkout link and the payment happens between your customer and Stripe.

What we do not promise

We do not control the directories. Claude and ChatGPT publish no review time; Meta publishes no requirements for Muse at all. We can make your connector meet every rule that has been written down and we cannot make a reviewer answer. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of placement, of traffic, or of revenue.

Your data and your connector

You own your data and you own your connector: the definition, the generated code, the tests and the traces. You may take them and host them yourself at any time, and we will help you move. We use your data only to run the services above. We do not sell it and we do not train models on it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Counter to expose data you do not have the right to expose, to impersonate another business, or to run a connector that misleads the people calling it. We may suspend a connector that is doing any of those, and we will tell you why.

Ending it

You may cancel a monthly plan at any time from the billing portal or by writing to us. We may end a plan with 30 days' notice, or immediately if a connector is being used in breach of the section above. When a plan ends we keep your logs for the retention periods in the privacy policy and then delete them; you can ask for an export before that.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply in it, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction.
